Ale Anderson, Negro Leader Dies Here Sunday
Funeral services for Ale Anderson, 72 well known Negro resident of Madison, were held Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church. He died Sunday at Morgan Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was associated with the Georgia Power Company here as janitor for many years. Before that he worked for Col. Ed Butler. Mr. Fred Foster and at Madison Variety Works.
He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and a leader among his people.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Anderson; sister, Fanny A. Love, a brother, William Anderson and a niece, Margaret Love.
The Rev. J. H. Pullin officiated at the funeral services.
