CHARLES WALTER BALDWIN Jr.
Charles Walter Baldwin, Jr. died unexpectedly on April 10, 2015, at Amelia Island, Florida. He was born on July 29, 1944 to Charles and Margaret Baldwin.
Charles is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Sue and a son, Charles Baldwin, III. His beloved daughter, Susan, predeceased him. Also surviving are grandchildren Dorothy Paige Banaszak, Spencer Banaszak, Charles Baldwin, IV and Rhodes Baldwin. He is survived by nieces and nephews and many close friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family depended on him for insightfulness, intelligence and humor. He will be greatly missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Baldwin.
Charles graduated from Morgan County High School and from the University of Georgia in 1966 with a degree in Forestry. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He worked in real estate in Morgan County for forty-five years. He was an ordained Deacon in the Episcopal Church and his church participation at Church of the Advent was very rewarding to him. He served on the Board of Camp Twin Lakes, the Boys and Girls Club of Morgan County, was a longtime supporter of the Madison Morgan Cultural Center and supported numerous organizations in the Morgan County area. He was a loyal supporter of UGA football and baseball.
A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Advent on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1:00PM. A reception will follow at the Parrish House. A E Carter Funeral Home
