Little Jim Hendrix Is Buried Here Saturday

 

Little Jimmy Bearden Hendrix, Jr., 4, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Hendrix, of Covington, died Friday morning at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta following an illness of several months.

The attractive little boy would have been five Jan. 12th.  Funeral services were held at Covington Baptist Church.  The Rev. Edgar Callaway conducted the service and the Rev. William Byington officiated at graveside services in the Godfrey-Candler family plot in Madison Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, two sisters, Caroline and Ellen Hendrix, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lowry Hunt and Mrs. Mamie Hendrix, great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Candler, Mrs. Ezelia Satterfield, Mrs. J.W. Hendrix all of Madison and Mrs. P. W. Hunt, of Cedartown, and several aunts and uncles.

Pall bearers included Mr. Blake Armstrong and Mr. Q. E. Reagin, of Covington, Mr. Bob Fears, of Atlanta, and Mr. C. W. McDaniel of Athens.
