tal Auxilliary. Mrs. Lurey enjoyed cooking and especially liked to bake cakes to give to her friends. She also enjoyed her morning walking group and adored her grandchildren.
Mrs. Lurey is survived by her husband, Barry Lurey, and their two daughters, Stacie Lurey O’Connell & John and Jamie Lurey Burak & the late Evan Burak. Mrs. Lurey leaves one sister, Jeanniene Samuels & Bill and brother-in-law, Michael Lurey & Judy, Mrs. Lurey’s three grandchildren, Hannah and Owen O’Connell and Lauren Burak. She also leaves nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Madison Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
