Funeral Services Held Here For Willie Mae Malone

 

Miss Willie May Malone, of Jacksonville, Fla., oldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Malone, lifelong residents of Morgan County, passed away in Jacksonville Thursday and her remains were brought to Madison and interred in the family lot in the New Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 6.  She has been an invalid for some time and spent her last years in a nursing home in Jacksonville near her sister, Mrs. Fred Miller who is remembered here as Miss Gertrude Malone.

 

Funeral services took place at Hemperley Funeral Home, the Rev. James Sheffield officiating.

 

Among out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller, of Jacksonville, Mr. and Mrs. Billups Atkinson, of Lawrenceville, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Abram, Mrs. J. H. Malone and Mrs. Robert Edwards, of Lithonia, Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Cox of Knoxville and Mr. Albert Malone of Atlanta.
