PAUL ANTHONY MORRIS

Paul Anthony Morris was born March 8, 1964 in Madison to Hattie Mae Davis and McArthur King. God called His faithful servant home Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was educated in the Morgan County School system, where he received his diploma with the Class of 1982. Wearing  23 on his jersey he was a force to be reckoned with as a running back and safety for the Morgan County Bulldogs. He was a power lifter and has been known to have bench pressed as much as 350 pounds and was exciting to watch. He believed in physical fitness and would spend time helping others improve their football and weightlifting skills. His love for football didn’t end with high school, he was a die-hard Georgia Bulldog Fan and an Atlanta Falcons Fanatic and would watch football as much as possible.

He was a member of Holland Springs Baptist Church where he served on the Ministerial Staff as a Licensed Minister. He read the Bible daily and shared his love for and knowledge of the Lord with anyone who needed a word or wanted to listen.

Paul’s quiet and sweet spirit will be missed and his memories will live on in the hearts of his family.
