Asbury Quillian Baldwin

Asbury Quillian Baldwin, 86, of 860 S. Main St., died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999.

A native of Morgan County, Mr. Baldwin was a son of the late William Whitfield Baldwin and Sarah Ola Quillian.

He was a retired pharmacist and was a member of Masonic Lodge 376 and the Kiwanis Club for over 50 years, the State Examining Board of Pharmacy, and Gridiron at the University of Georgia. He was a member of Madison First United Methodist Church and was secretary of the board of Drugs Mutual Inc.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Madison First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tom Kerr offi-ciating. Burial will be in Madison City Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Thrasher Baldwin; a daughter, Anne Satterfield, Madison; two sons, Asbury, Quillian Baldwin Jr., La Grange, and Barton Whitfield Baldwin, Mount Olive, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. R. Turnell, Mrs. W. Wise, and Mrs. J.D. Harris, all of Madison, and Mrs. B. Harris, Rome; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
