Leavern Brown, age 93, of Madison, died on April 3, 2018.

She was born in Burnsville, NC on August 13, 1924 to the late Effie Elizabeth Taylor Pinson and the late Robert McGarity Pinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Carroll Brown; daughter, the late Frances Peek; sons, the late Paul Brown, and the late Charles Brown; brothers, the late Worth Pinson, the late Emmett Pinson, the late Topsy Pinson; and sisters, the late Neta Peppers, and the late Martha Pearson.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Simmons of Madison, Linda Pittman of Stone Mountain; sister, Sandra Willoughby of Athens; and may grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5th at Meadows Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 pm at Morgan Memorial Park.
