Sandra Segrest Burden, 58 of Madison, died June 21, 2018. Mrs. Burden was the daughter of the late Emmett Segrest and Joanne Segrest. She was married to Eddie Burden. Mrs. Burden was a member of Madison First United Methodist Church.

She worked for many years at Wal-Mart and most recently was employed at Pilot as a Retail Sales Specialist. She enjoyed photography and loved all animals. She was a loving wife and mother and grandmother.

Sandra Burden is survived by her husband, Eddie and children, Kyle Burden, Ryan Burden, Chris Burden and Mallory and Jennifer Porter. Grandchildren are Joseph, Tristen, Jalen, Jasper, Aslyn, Zach, Matt and Emma. She also leaves her mother, Joanne Segrest and siblings, Ronnie Segrest and Euris and Bill Segrest.

The family received friends on Saturday at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service was held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Madison First United Methodist Church. Interment was held privately at the Madison City Cemetery.

The family asks that memorials be made to Madison First United Methodist Church or to the Morgan County Humane Society.
