Leah Womack Callahan
Leah Womack Callahan died on February 26, 2105 in Atlanta at the age of 47.
Leah is survived by her mother, Mildred Carson Womack, her brother, Scott Carson Womack, sister-in-law, Melissa Vandervort Womack and her three nephews: Christopher Alexander Salmons, Carson Matthew Womack and Collin James Womack; all of Madison. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Carlton Womack and husband, John W. Callahan.
Leah was born on October 9, 1967 in Athens. She graduated in 1989 from Georgia College and State University. After moving to Atlanta, Leah began a fulfilling career working in sales. Leah is fondly remembered by her family and numerous friends; including those with whom she grew up in Madison, Altanta neighbors, her Ansley tennis team and many others as a beautiful, caring person who was devoted to her family, faith, politics and her rescue dogs: Chester and Major. She was a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
A funeral is scheduled for 11 am February 28, 2015 at Madison Baptist Church.
