Sandra Ruth Hall Cummings, 70, of Atlanta, Georgia, completed her homegoing on February 22, 2018.

Sandra’s professional life in healthcare and social work and her volunteer work were driven by her deep empathy and compassion for people. A proud lifelong resident of Georgia, Sandra was an active contributor to several institutions and communities in Statesboro, Madison, and Atlanta.

Beloved by many, Sandra leaves behind a husband, James Cummings; an extensive family of children, grand and great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins; along with numerous friends, colleagues, and neighbors.

A Memorial service was held at 11am on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Ben Hill United Methodist Church, 2099 Fairburn Rd SW, Atlanta, GA; Homegoing and burial service was held at Calvary Baptist Church, 184 Academy St, Madison, GA, at 11am on Friday, March 2, 2018. Sandra joined her parents and sister in their resting place at Madison Memorial Gardens in Madison, GA.
