John T. Detienne, 72, of Eatonton, GA, passed away December 8, 2013 in Eatonton, GA.

He was born February 22, 1941 in Anderson, Indiana where he resided most of his life. John graduated from Madison Heights High School and Ball State University. John retired from Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson. He also served in the United States Army.

John is survived by his son, Noel Detienne Marie of Madison, Georgia, sisters, Patricia Dick Frank of Anderson, Judi Padgett Jim of Yorktown, brother Mike Detienne Fiancee' Lynda Delong of Anderson, grandchildren, Weston, Larson, and Elissa, all of Madison, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Detienne, and mother, Margaret Detienne.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 08, 2014 10:30 am - 11:30 am at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana. Services will be Saturday, February 8, 2014, 11:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Freeman officiating. Cremation has taken place.
