Charles Causey James

Mr. Charles C. James of Madison died December 6, 2015 at Madison Health and Rehab. He was born on July 31, 1934 to W.C. and Willie Nell James.

He attended school in Morgan County and Clarkston Trade School. He served in the united States Army in Germany. Upon returning home from Service, he worked for many years with Madison Railway Express. He was also a security guard for Pennington Grain & Seed. He later moved to Jones County and lived there for 29 years. He worked for Appling Brothers Construction. He returned to Morgan County in 2005 and was a member of Beacon Heights Baptist Church.

He was married to the late Ellen Moss James. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Weyman R. James and Donald M. James. He is survived by two sisters, Ellen J. Smith (James Harold) and Brenda J. McAdams (John), brother, Jimmy D. James (Robin) and sister-in-law, Patricia B. James as well as five nieces and six nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19 at 2 Pm at Brownwood Baptist Church.
