Mrs. Sandra Lee Kirby, 70, of Buckhead died on February 11, 2012. Mrs. Kirby was born on December 22, 1941 to Chalmer and Pauline Phaler Faloon. She was married to Ben Kirby on August 31, 1962. The Kirby’s moved to Buckhead six years ago from Cobb County. Mrs. Kirby was a travel agent and a member of First United Methodist Church of Madison. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Mrs. Kirby was active in a Bunko group and the Newcomer’s Club.

Mrs. Kirby s survived by her husband of 49 years, Ben Kirby and their two sons, David Kirby & Tina and Daryl Kirby & Stacey. She also has four grandchildren, Nicole Kirby, Brooke Kirby, Avery Kirby and Jackson Kirby.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 until 7 pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at First United Methodist Church of Madison. Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
