Mr. Matt Laseter, of Madison, died Sunday August 3, 2014. Matt was born November 17, 1974 to Jimmy Laseter and Jane Stephens Laseter.

He was a graduate of Morgan County High School and had attended the Universtiy of Georgia. Matt was father to Brock Laseter. He was self-employed as an artist. Matt was a member of Centerpoint Church and was a board member of the Madison Artists Guild.

Matt will be remembered as an extremely talented artist, a brilliant mind and a loving father.​

Matt Laseter is survived by his son, Brock as well as his parents, Jane Laseter and Jimmy & Sarulchana Laseter. He also leaves his grandmother, Gloria Laseter and a sister, Molly Laseter Bonner & Dallas. Matt has a niece, Taylor Miller and a nephew, Brooks Bonner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.​

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am in the chapel. Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.​
