Mr. George Ray McNair, Sr. died June 28, 2013. Mr. McNair was born on May 10, 1933 in Wrens, GA. He was son to James and Clara Dye McNair.

He retired from General Motors after thirty-two years. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was widowed by Evelyn McNair. He is survived by wife Eleanor and his children George McNair, Jr. & Mildred, Theresa Dulaney, Billy McNair & Marsha and Patricia Keener. He leaves four grandchildren as well as siblings, Letisha Peel, Ann Shefield and Lewis McNair.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 5-7pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2pm in the chapel. Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.


Donald Rogers - A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 2 pm at the Madison City Cemetery. Local survivors are Renee Pritchard & Bill.
