Mildred Fay Brown Mitchem, 91, died March 24. 2020. Mrs. Mitchem was a native of Clayton, GA. She was born on September 14, 1928 to James and Carrie Hensley Brown. She was married to the late C.W. Mitchem in 1946.

Mrs. Mitchem was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her daughters and her grandchildren.

Mrs. Mitchem is survived by two daughters, Nancy Mitchem Addy and Belinda Mitchem Tyler and Ron. She also leaves her adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many other family members.

Mrs. Mitchem was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Mitchem, a son-in-law, James Addy and a grandson, Dave Strange.

A private committal service was held by the family due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, a memorial service will be held at a later date to honor the life of Mrs. Fay Mitchem.
