Milton George Milstead, 78, of 1650 Apalachee Woods Trail, died Thursday, June 6, 2002.

A native of Memphis, Tenn., Mr. Milstead was a son of the late Edward Clayton Milstead Sr. and Nannie Eudy Brunson Milstead. He was a retired YMCA director.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Madison Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Chuck Hasty officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Milstead; a daughter, Marty Poplin, Griffin; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Simmons Funeral Home.
