Mrs. Jeanette V. Haynes Pinson, 79 of Rutledge, died December 28, 2015. She was the daughter of James and Viola Crawford Pinson. She was married to the late James Emmett Pinson. Mrs. Pinson was retired from “Same Old Place” restaurant that she owned for many years. After retirement, she went back to work at “Ye Olde Colonial Restaurant” where she worked another 17 years. Mrs. Pinson was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and loved crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Pinson is survived by two daughters, Sarah Mullis of Madison and Cindy Taylor of Philadelphia, PA. She also leaves two sisters, Claudia Kitchens and Sylvia McCart and a brother, Bill Haynes. Mrs. Pinson also has four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 AM in the chapel. Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
