Mrs. Christine Mason Tamplin, 90 of Madison, died on October 17, 2014. Mrs. Tamplin was a native of Gainesville. She was born December 24, 1923 to Clyde David Mason and Sally Martin Mason. She was later married to the late E.L. Tamplin. Mrs. Tamplin was a homemaker and longtime member of Madison Baptist Church. She loved to garden and spend time with family and friends.

Mrs. Tamplin is survived by two sons, Harold David Tamplin and Mark Wayne Tamplin & Debbie as well as a daughter-in-law, Georgiana Tamplin. She leaves a brother, Mark Mason as well as her grandchildren, Christy, Cathy, Beth, Mary Anne, Sally, David and Becca. She also has eleven great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tamplin was preceded in death by her husband, E.L. and two sons, Bobby Eugene Tamplin and Charles Tamplin as well as two sisters, Louise Eberhardt and Mary Jackson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3pm at Madison Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
