James Marvin Wade, 86, of 3931 Eatonton Road died Sunday, June 17, 2001.

A native of Hall County, Mr. Wade was a son of the late Spurgeon Paul Wade and Alice Butterworth Wade, and was a widower of Martha Elizabeth McClinton Wade.

He was a dairy farmer. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of VFW.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Simmons Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Bryant officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.

Survivors include a sister, Louise Sinclair, Macon; and four nieces.
