CLINTON LAMAR PATRICK

Clinton Lamar Patrick, 61, who was retired from Southern Bell, died November 25 at his residence on Monticello Road near Madison, after a long illness.

 

Mr. Patrick was a highly regarded and well liked citizen of Morgan County. He was a native of Madison and attended local schools. He was born October 1, 1932, the son of the late Clinton B. and Marie Graves Patrick. He served in the Korean War and returned home to join Southern Bell where he had a fine career.

 

He was married to the former Nannette Walker and was an active member of the Madison Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

 

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannette Walker Patrick, Madison, mother, Mrs. Marie Graves Patrick, Madison, a son, Mr. Michael Patrick, Greshamville, a daughter, Mrs. David "Libby" Patrick Powell, St. Augustine, Florida, a sister, Mrs. Betty P. Chastain, Madison, and five grandchildren.

 

Services were held at the Madison Baptist Church on Saturday at two p.m. The Reverend Jim Ross officiated. Burial was in Madison Cemetery. Simmons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Madison Baptist Church.
