CRAYMON ROBINSON
Funeral services for Mr. Craymon Robinson, 73, were held Saturday, September 5 at 2:30 pm in Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Reverend O.C. Kindall, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the City Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson was the son of the late Mr. Green Robinson and Mrs. Daisey Jackson Robinson. He was born on May 1, 1918 in Morgan County and was a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church. He died August 27 at Walton County Hospital.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Marie Robinson of Chicago, Illinois, nine children, Virginia Campbell, Annie C. Burke, Leonard R. Edwards, all of Madison, Eddie J. Edwards of Fairless Hill, Pennsylvania, Julius Clark, Emma C. Cain of Atlanta, Alvin Cooke, Lenon Cooke of Savannah, and Evions Chestnuts, of Chicago, Illinois, and one step-son, one sister, Carrie Thomas, two brothers, Frank Robinson, of Madison, and George Robinson, of Chicago, Illinois, 41 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren.
Flower bearers were Robin N. Edwards, Virginia Campbell, Vickie Jones, Gladys Burke, Shelia Allen, and Annie B. Atwater. Casket bearers were Leonard Edwards, Jr., Morris Edwards, Billy Campbell, James Broadnax, Barry Broadnax, Warren Robinson, and Richard Campbell. Mapp-Gilmore Funeral Services, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
