HARRIETTE BALDWIN WILSON WADE

Harriette Baldwin Wilson Wade, 98 of Madison, died on January 9, 2018.

 

Mrs. Wade was born on April 20, 1919 in Madison to Jacob Martin Wilson, Sr. and Genie Maude Baldwin Wilson. She was married to the late, Lamar S. Wade.

 

Mrs. Wade was retired from Milk Transport in Madison after 45 years. She was a long-time member of Madison First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wade was devoted to her Lord and her family. She enjoyed her flower gardens and her animals. She liked to watch the Atlanta Braves and work puzzles. She was also loved to fish and attend the Morgan County Senior Center after her retirement.

Mrs. Wade is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Lynne Hawkins & Dudley and Sally Stephens & Tony. She leaves her grandchildren: Ginny Gregg & Joe, Laurie Lewis & Chic, Richard Davis & Rachel, Brad Davis & Shannon, Jenny Nedham & Jason, Alicia Stephens and Joshua Stephens. Mrs. Wade also has numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She leaves a brother, Jacob Wilson, Jr & Blanche.

Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar and an infant daughter, Alice Jean Wade.

The family will receive friends at 1PM on Thursday, January 11 at the Madison First United Methodist Church.  The funeral service will begin at 2PM.  Interment will follow at the Madison City Cemetery.
